If you'd like us to send you a hard copy of these please do ask. •Big Cat Cars shall be known as the ‘company’ and the person named below and/or the person signing the confirmation shall be known as ‘The Hirer’. It will be deemed that the hirer accepts responsibility for him/herself and for every person in his/her party and fully agrees to the conditions of hire as follows: •The Company does not accept any responsibility for any personal items lost, stolen or damaged whilst the vehicle is under hire. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are satisfied that any clothing cannot be accidentally damaged in any way. •The Company shall supply the vehicle as instructed, however in the unlikely event of accident and or breakdown whether mechanical or electrical, a similar or alternative vehicle shall be supplied. The company shall make every effort to provide a similar vehicle so the journey may continue or where the hirer will be transferred to another vehicle and any reasonable extra cost incurred will be borne by the company or a refund given only if an alternative vehicle cannot be provided. The company cannot be held responsible for any differences whether type or colour, missed connections and/or functions howsoever caused. •The Company reserves the right to substitute a similar or alternative vehicle in the unlikely event that the vehicle booked is not deemed mechanically or aesthetically up to the required standards. A refund will be given only if an alternative vehicle cannot be provided. The company cannot be held responsible for any differences whether type or colour but will endeavour to provide as similar an alternative as possible. •The company accepts no responsibility for any adverse weather conditions (ie snow, flooding etc) which may cause inconvenience, delay and/or cancellation of a booking by the company. •The company insists that a strict no smoking policy is adhered to in the vehicles at all times. •The consumption of food/food products and such like is not permitted in the vehicle ( excluding complimentary champagne) •The hirer shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused both inside and outside of the vehicle by the hirer or any member of his/her party, however caused. This includes any incitement to ANY third party, which results in damage to the vehicle and/or it’s contents. The hirer will agree to be liable for the total cost of the repair. In addition the hirer will be liable to pay to the company a fixed daily rate (determined by the company) while the vehicle is out of commission for such repair, plus any further incurred losses to the company, ie lost bookings. •In booking this classic car the hirer has considered the natural limitations this vehicle (for example stopping on steep inclines) and has asked questions of the company to satisfy themselves of any areas of concern. •The company or its representative (eg Chauffeur) reserve the right to refuse entry to the vehicle to any person/s they deem unfit for whatever reason and can refuse to finish the journey if any person/s behave in a manner which the company/representative feel may be detrimental to other persons or the vehicle and its contents. In this case no refund shall be given. •Once a booking is made, confirmed and deposit paid, the price quoted to the hirer will not be subject to alteration unless there is any deviation from the details of the booking and no deposits can be refunded. •Any extra request or alterations to the booking( ie additional pick up points, changes of destination causing extra mileage and time) not made at the time of booking/confirmation cannot necessarily be entertained, although every effort will be made to meet the requirements of the hirer. Any such alterations in most cases will involve extra charge being levied on the original quotation. Payment Structure •A non refundable deposit is required to secure booking - the amount is set at either £75 or £150 depending on the value of the booking. •Balance of payment is due at least 6 weeks before the date of secured booking. •Except in very exceptional circumstances, in the event of cancellation, payment must be made in full. •Should the booking period go over the agreed time each hour, or part thereof, is charged at the same amount as your deposit (see above). We strongly recommend that you take out separate wedding cancellation insurance with a reputable insurer. A financial advisor will be able to provide more information.
